ENTRY RULES & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

These Entry Rules & Submission Guidelines govern participation in The Genny Awards™, including the Grand Prize Competition for the "Company of the Year" Award. By submitting an entry, all participants agree to comply with these rules and accept the decisions of The Genny Awards™ organizers, which are final and binding.
1. Overview
The Genny Awards™ celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements in emerging technologies. A single Grand Prize will be awarded to the entry with the most gold, silver and bronze wins for The Genny Awards™ program.
2. Eligibility
- The Genny Awards™ is open to individuals, teams, organizations, and companies worldwide.
- The Grand Prize Competition is open exclusively to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Non-U.S. entrants are eligible to compete for any of the many other prestigious Genny Awards categories—to take home the gold and make AI history!
- Employees and immediate family members of The GenAI Network, The Genny Awards™, IAAAS™, or its affiliates are not eligible to participate.
- Entries must be submitted by individuals, companies, or authorized representatives of teams. If submitted by a team, a single representative must be designated for communication.
3. Submission Requirements
- Entries must be original and owned by the entrant, or the entrant must have written authorization from the owner granting permission for submission. Any work found to infringe on third-party intellectual property (IP) will be disqualified.
- Proof-of-concept projects, prototypes, and speculative (spec) work are not eligible. All entries must represent a real, market-ready system, product, or solution that has been publicly available within the eligibility window of January 2023 until The Genny Awards™ Season One entries are closed for Season One.
- Formats accepted: Written documents, presentations, videos, or other specified media relevant to the category.
- Submission Deadline: All entries must be received by the official closing date as specified in The Genny Awards™ timeline. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Entry Limit: Participants may submit one entry per category but may enter multiple categories.
4. Judging Process & Criteria
- Entries are evaluated by a panel of industry experts, executives, and thought leaders from the International Academy of Automation Arts & Sciences™ (IAAAS™).
- Entries are judged based on originality, innovation, impact, and execution as outlined in The Genny Awards™ evaluation framework.
- The Grand Prize winner is selected through a combination of public votes and expert judging panel evaluation.
- Public voting for the People's Genny Award is open to everyone. One vote per person per category is allowed.
- Judges are prohibited from voting in categories where they have a conflict of interest (real or perceived).
- All judging decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
5. Prizes
- A single Grand Prize (valued at under $600) will be awarded to the entrant deemed the "Overall Best of" in the respective major categories of entry.
- The Grand Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, including reporting prize winnings on their tax returns.
- A Form 1099-MISC will be issued for any prize valued at $600 or more.
6. Winner Notification
- The Grand Prize winner will be notified via email or phone within 10 business days of the judging conclusion.
- The winner must confirm acceptance of their prize within 5 business days of notification. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.
- The winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release before receiving their prize.
7. Publicity
- By entering, participants grant The GenAI Network, The Genny Awards™, and the International Academy of Automation Arts & Sciences™ (IAAAS™) permission to use their name, likeness, and submission for promotional purposes related to The Genny Awards™, without additional compensation, except were prohibited by law.
8. General Conditions
- The Genny Awards™, The GenAI Network, and IAAAS™ reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest in the event of technical failures, fraud, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Any attempt to tamper with the contest process will result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants agree to release The GenAI Network, The Genny Awards™, and IAAAS™, its affiliates, employees, contractors, and sponsors from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance.
9. Privacy
- Participant information will be collected solely for contest purposes and handled in compliance with applicable U.S. privacy laws.
- Data will not be shared with third parties without consent.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from this contest will be resolved individually, without resort to class action.
- The contest is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

The Genny Awards™ Official Rules & Terms of Entry

1. ELIGIBILITY
- Open to individuals, companies, organizations, agencies, and teams worldwide.
- Work submitted must involve the use of Generative AI (GenAI) in creation, execution, or delivery.
- Non-profit pricing is available to registered non-profits, NGOs, academic institutions, and charities.
- Entrants must have full rights to submit work—no third-party infringement.
- Entries can be submitted to multiple categories, but the same project may only enter a given category once.
2. ENTRY PROCESS & FEES
- All entries must be submitted online via the official entry platform.
- Entry fees are non-refundable once submitted.
- Special pricing available for qualified non-profits (50% off regular rates).
- Each entry is judged individually—submitting to multiple categories does not guarantee multiple wins.
3. OWNERSHIP & RIGHTS
- By entering, entrants confirm they hold the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions.
- Entrants retain ownership of their work.
- Entrants grant The Genny Awards™ and The International Academy of Automation Arts & Sciences™ (IAAAS™) a limited, non-exclusive license to showcase winning entries in promotional materials, press, and online showcases.
- Unauthorized commercial use of The Genny Awards™ trademarks, logos, or brand elements is strictly prohibited.
4. JUDGING PROCESS
- Entries will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of expert judges selected by IAAAS™.
- Judging criteria may include innovation, creativity, effective use of GenAI, impact, and execution.
- All decisions by the judges and The Genny Awards™ are final.
- Public voting will determine the People’s Public Vote Awards™ winners.
5. DISQUALIFICATION
- Entries containing plagiarism, misrepresentation, or infringing materials will be disqualified without refund.
- Entries found to use unauthorized, misleading, or artificially inflated public votes will be disqualified.
- Entries submitted without full payment will be disqualified.
6. PRIZES & RECOGNITION
- Winners will receive official digital assets, certificates, and optional trophy packages.
- The overall Genny AI Supercomputer Grand Prize™ winner will receive the world’s first AI Supercomputer Grand Prize Contest for winning the most Gold, Silver, and Bronze for The Genny Awards 2024-25 Program.
- Winning does not transfer any intellectual property rights from The Genny Awards™ to entrants or vice versa.
7. PUBLICITY & PROMOTION
- By entering, entrants agree to allow The Genny Awards™ and IAAAS™ to use their name, likeness, and submitted materials for promotional purposes (with proper credit).
- Winning work may be showcased across The Genny Awards™ website, social channels, and industry media.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
- The Genny Awards™, Genny GenAI for Good™, Genny Gives Back™, AI Supercomputer Grand Prize™, GenAI 100™, GenAI Hall of Fame™, CAIO Awards™, CAIO 100™, CAIO Hall of Fame™ and International Academy of Automation Arts & Sciences™ (IAAAS™) are trademarks of the GenAI Network, LLC and the CAIO Network, LLC.
- Unauthorized commercial use of these trademarks, logos, or award images is strictly prohibited.

9. DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW
- In the event of any dispute, entrants agree to binding arbitration in Tampa, Florida, under Florida law.
- Entrants agree that all claims will be limited to actual damages (no punitive or consequential damages).
- By entering, entrants waive the right to class action litigation.
10. CHANGES & UPDATES
- The Genny Awards™ reserves the right to modify categories, deadlines, rules, fees, and other program elements at its discretion.
- Updated rules will be published on TheGennyAwards.ai.
MEDIA USE GUIDELINES
- Approved press, media outlets, and journalists may use the official logo, name, and brief excerpts from published materials only for editorial coverage related to The Genny Awards™.
- Commercial use (e.g., for endorsements, advertising, or products) is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
- For high-resolution logos, brand assets, and permissions, contact: media@TheGennyAwards.ai.
WINNER’S BADGE USAGE GUIDE
- Winners will receive official badges for display on websites, social profiles, and marketing materials.
- Badges must be used unaltered—resizing is allowed, but colors, fonts, and wording may not be modified.
- Proper reference required: "Winner — [Year] The Genny Awards™" (with TM symbol on first use).
- Improper or misleading use may result in loss of winner privileges.
LEGAL & IP STATEMENT
- The Genny Awards™, its program elements, logos, category taxonomy, and associated content are the exclusive intellectual property of The International Academy of Automation Arts & Sciences™ (IAAAS™).
- All rights reserved. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
- The Genny Awards™ and IAAAS™ are not responsible for incomplete, lost, delayed, damaged, or corrupted entries.
- Technical issues, platform failures, or force majeure events will not result in refunds or extensions beyond stated deadlines.
- Submission to The Genny Awards™ constitutes acceptance of all stated rules and terms.
