The Genny Awards™ offers "something for everyone" with many ways to win awards, featuring hundreds of categories and countless opportunities for recognition. Each entry is independently judged by Academy Judges and can earn one of five distinctions—Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorable Mention, or Finalist—providing five (5) opportunities for winning and recognition with each and every submission.

Following industry best practices, approximately 20–25% of entries receive the esteemed Honorable Mention distinction. Being selected as a Finalist is an honor in itself and qualifies for special recognition by the Academy.

Unlike most industry leading awards programs, each entry is evaluated solely on its own merit—measured against the highest standards of industry excellence—ensuring every submission is honored for its true quality and impact.

• The Genny Awards™ for Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorees are given across sub-categories within the top eight (8) major categories. General Entries are awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze based on their own merits score — not judged against each other entries.
• Best [Category] of the Year Awards go to the entities with the most Gold, Silver, and Bronze wins in each major category.
• Genny “of the Year!” Awards goes to the company, agency, brand, media, network, and other "of the Year" winners accumulating the highest total number of Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards.

The Genny Awards™ is a serious awards program committed to accelerating and celebrating excellence in GenAI innovation and impact. By entering, all participants agree to abide by all rules associated with The Genny Awards™, including the Genny Grand Prize Contest Rules outlined below.

The Genny Awards™ is designed to celebrate and accelerate GenAI to create a better world and future together. The following types of work are strictly prohibited:

• Rude, crude, defamatory, hateful, violent, pornographic, or extremely offensive content
• Spec work (work not completed and/or without prior client approval or agreement) 
• Any entry that infringes on third-party intellectual property (IP)
• The Genny Awards™ is not responsible for any third-party IP infringement. 
• All entries must be original work owned by the entrant and must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

THE GENNY AWARDS ELIGIBILITY 

To be eligible for The Genny Awards™, submissions must adhere to the following criteria:

• Language: Entries must be in English or include English subtitles.
• Submission Format: Each entry should provide a valid video URL or an uploaded video file during the entry process to accessible to judges.
• Production Date: Work submitted for the inaugural Season One must have been produced between January 1, 2023, and the final entry deadline.
• Evaluation: Entries are evaluated by the International Academy of Automation Arts & Sciences™ (IAAAS™) and can receive gold, silver, or bronze awards based on merit

ENTRY SUBMISSION & PAYMENT

• All entry payments must be made by credit card.
• Entrants can make changes to submissions until judging begins.
• Refunds are not available once an entry has been submitted.
• We are unable to provide feedback for entries. (TBA: The Genny Report™)

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS & JUDGES INTEGRITY

• All entries must be submitted in English. Any media not in English must include English subtitles.
• Judges are strictly prohibited from voting in categories where they have a conflict of interest.
•  The IAAAS™ judges and governing body have sole discretion and final authority in all decisions.
• Entries may be disqualified at any phase of the competition without prior notification.
  All judging decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
